The extent of my car knowledge....

No offense if you love Saturns... but I just think they're ugly. If you look at a car head on... they sort of resemble faces. At least that's how I've always looked at them (when I was a kid I used to assign people cars that "looked like them"). Take the corvette with its wide-set distinguished headlights... its sexy car... it has a sexy "face." If the corvette was a girl in high school it'd be the popular girl that every guy desired.
The TT is cute. It too has wide set headlights, but they're rounded and soft... it has a "cute face." In high school the TT is that cute athletic girl that people generally liked and guys had crushes on. Now look at the Saturn. Again, this is strictly editorial and I'm sure they're wonderful cars... but with its elongated close-set headlights it looks kinda like if it was a kid in high school it would be a loser. Which is why I don't want one.

No TT for me (read with humor)

So... as you may have inferred by my not so subtle posts I was in a car accident. Car is totaled.
In this fabulous way that's not so fabulous at all, I didn't quite plan on buying a new car... in fact I have so little to spend on a new car its looking more and more like I will most definitely not be getting an Audi TT.
So anyway, welcome to the Audi TT chronicles... or... better put... the Urban Socialite Buys a Car That Will in no Way, Shape or Form Resemble an Audi TT.
I called some dealers the other day and told them what I could spend and what I wanted. Two laughed out loud and one offered me a Pontiac sunfire or something like that.
"It has the same horsepower as a TT!" he said.
Does he not realize a Pontiac is like... the antithesis of an Audi?
Anyway I figured I'd spare the readers of my fashion site the woes of my impending car purchase. If you're interested you can keep checking back here for updates. If anything this an exercise to combat my own frustration!
